Polyimide tape, also known as Kapton tape, commonly
known as gold finger tape, is based on polyimide film as the base
material, uses silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, has high and
low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent
resistance, electrical insulation (H Grade), high-temperature
masking tape with anti-radiation properties.
This tape is suitable for winding coils, transformers, capacitors,
wiring harnesses, and fixing lead/terminal boards, and as a wave
soldering masking tape in printed circuit board assembly.
Kapton® Polyimide Tape
Features
H-class high temperature electrical insulation applications
The high dielectric strength allows it to be used in high-voltage areas under very low insulation accumulation conditions.
High-performance Kapton® substrate has excellent heat resistance, thinness, and conformability
